tbh 2016 is by far one of the worst years of my life.

It also seems to be bad for a lot of people, but I don't know if that's because in previous years when people would say the year sucked, I would ignore them and move on whereas this year I'm taking notice of it. That was a really long sentence but I don't care.

Count me in as someone who could give two shits when someone famous dies. Maybe I was slightly affected by Phife Dawg's passing because that meant there would never be another ATCQ album and I would never get the chance to see them live. But that's about it.

On that note...2016 has been pretty decent for me. Not that best year ever, but had some good shit happen and not any really bad shit. So chalk it up as a positive.

ATCQ actually recorded a new album prior to Phife dog's passing. you won't get to see them live, but you will eventually get a new album

But most of the people that pass away are past their prime and aren't doing anything any more. Even ATCQ was unlikely to go touring or release more albums (still waiting on the one mentioned above). When was the last time Prince put out notable shit? Gene Wilder's last film was in 1991. David Bowie? Ali? Thanks for what you've done....but those guys were withering away.

Sucks that Scotty from Star Wars and John Saunders passed away with plenty of time left in their career, but 90% of "celebrities" die in basic retirement. So my point still stands.
