test ran the chainsaw and located the bar oil

just need to get some wire and a couple plugs to make up my backfeed cable. i'll work on that tomorrow.

I'm on HHI with my family for vacay, apparently there is a mandatory evacuation tomorrow at 3:00pm.

We're debating on what to do. My BIL is flying in at 9pm tonight to Savannah (currently at Dulles waiting on a delayed flight), my sister is trying to decide if she should pack the three kids up and meet him down there at the airport, and then head inland.

We paid for this amazing house down here through Sat. Different news outlets are giving conflicting information on the trajectory of the storm, and also when to leave. Thoughts?

I'm at the office on King Street and it's a ghost town. All the restaurants are closed down...it's creepy. Our house is having an addition put on, so we're living with the in-laws in Mount Pleasant for the next few months.

We're going to tough it out for the time being. We've got plenty of water and non-perishables. I'm going to stop at the liquor/beer store on the way out and stock up on the good stuff. If looks like it's heading straight for us, we might head out early Thursday morning and stay with the sister-in-law in Columbia.

The awesome thing about Haley calling for this shit yesterday was that half the town is already out, so if/when we decide to leave, I-26 will not be a parking lot like it is in the past.

Personally, I just want to hunker down and get hammered and play rummy with the in-laws. They're tons of fun when drunk.
