Unfortunately, the "best" candidate staying the race is going to cause one of the worst candidates to win and then subsequently lose the general.

Weird, all of these people who lectured us on strategic voting in 2016 are doing the exact opposite now.

Not bernies fault that he sowed the "burn it all down" seeds 4 years leaving resentments, endorse a policy revolution but not the government revolution needed to get things done, and refused to attack his opponents bc they're friends (Biden mostly, but also Warren)

^^the post was about Biden winning nc??

Damn, I am agreeing with rwoody so much right now that it's a little uncomfortable.

James Harden is overrated and the Rockets won't win the title this year.

So you're telling a large group of people "go fuck yourself" over issues that you ultimately don't even find to be "make or break". Sounds about white.

Also, how is the "best" candidate not the one with the most support?

I mean i already said I'm voting for Bernie, still will, but its silly to lay blame everywhere but your own candidate. Like the people refusing to lay any blame at Hilary feet.

Sure. Get those jabs in. Meanwhile, the party is willing to throw away the entire election and hand Trump four more years by consolidating around Biden, just to keep someone out of office who wants to make things better. Pretty gross.

You're under the assumption of a lot of shit that hasn't happened yet would be inevitable including:

1. Bernie is liked widely enough that he would be a shoo-in for the nom, but Warren (sry but no way to prove this)
2. Bernie would beat Trump in the general (I think he'd get waxed, but his odds would probably be a coin flip if being srs)
3. Bernie would be able to unite all branches of government to push through his 'political revolution' (FAT FUCKING CHANCE)

He's a flawed candidate. Face it already. So is Warren. How is my vote for a 'flawed' candidate (DNA kit? Super PAC? Too much like Hillary because she's phony/untrustworthy/ect) any worse than yours?

As I've already stated, most Americans are terrified of socialism, and the ones who supposedly LOOOOOVE it aren't showing up. Bernie's problem, not mine.

Blame the system if you want. It's dumb AF to have a primary/caucus/EC system like we have in this country, but that's not changing any time soon.

Blame Warren supporters for not hitching their star to Bernie, despite being pretty similar on policy if it helps you sleep at night.

^^^^
You threw away your vote to support a candidate who had no chance to win the primary, allowing a candidate who can't win the general to take the lead. But like I said, I don't blame you for voting who you want. I blame Warren for using her position of power to wreck the chance of a progressive win.

We have no idea what would happen with Bernie, and at least he is a progressive. We know exactly what is going to happen with Joe.

I dont blame warren voters, they just made a predictable mistake

Warren herself though should share some blame though, her endorsement could have made a huge difference but instead she killed any chance of a progressive president

I actually like Bernie's POLICIES better than Biden, but he's not in any position to unite a deeply divided country with a socialist agenda. He's just not.

I already said I'd vote for Bernie if he became the nom, so forgive me for having options that may not be the same as others.

You guys are the ones being hypocrites about this, not me. You're just mad you didn't get your way, but you still don't seem to understand why.

Again, socialism is deeply unpopular for most Americans. I wish the Dems had better options for a more centrist nom, but they dropped out. Why aren't people pissed at Buttigieg/Kolbachar for selling out to Biden? Oh wait...

Biden is crushing these results. I can’t blame warren. Her dropping out wouldn’t have made much of a difference.

Trump is going to really be running against Obama now. And with the actual “socialist” out of the race it’s going to make gop allegations of socialism ring more hollow.

Hes crushing it because of a coordinated campaign to all back biden right before the election gave him a bunch of mlmentum, this is contrasted with Warren attacking Sanders, if she came out and made a big deal about backing sanders it would have been the same energy

This, plus her supporters had Bernie as a second choice at like 40%. If she endorsed Bernie, it would have gone way above that.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I predicted yesterday in front of God and the whole FiveThirtyEight office that Bloomberg would finish first in American Samoa and Gabbard would finish second"

So the only viable candidates that will receive delegstes from American Samoa are Bloomberg and Gabbard.

Start coming up with your pro Biden arguments to use with your trump friends and disaffected democratic voters. We’re going to need everyone to turnout whether you like Biden or not.

^ some credible pundit was saying he was planning something. I think he will make an endorsement of Biden keeps winning. For the simple reason that the general election is not far away and every day campaigning against trump is better than another day of democratic primary.

Once Biden is assured he’ll endorse. There is literally no way he’d endorse anyone until it’s a certainty they will be against Trump.

And he would endorse and heavily campaign for Sanders and it isn’t even a question.
