Anyone have recommendations for a good all-around financial advisor or company around the Durham/Raleigh area?
My wife and I are just looking for someone to help us with our budget/focus our funds to the right places at the right time, etc. Saving for next house, 401k advice, etc.
Obviously, someone who is well-priced would be much appreciated. 11/11/2016 12:36:53 PM |

I would recommend fee only financial planners. You can locate one in your area from this website. You will pay more up front, but obviously dont have ongoing yearly fees to get average results.

Do they let you get your fees back if you're not happy? 11/11/2016 1:10:24 PM |

I have known and worked with Bill for 10+ years. He is as trustworthy as they come and is a great guy. He has helped several family members with a whole variety of financial situations and planning. Give him a call and see if he can help you out. 11/13/2016 10:22:07 PM |

A word of note, Financial Advisors, [Certified] Financial Planners (CFPs), are just titles that nearly anyone can use; and these types don't have a legal obligation to have your financial interests ahead of theirs. Not saying some don't; just that there isn't a legal obligation. A fiduciary on the other hand, has a legal obligation to put your financial needs first.
