Anybody watch this yet? Matt Smith plays Prince Phillip and John Lithgow plays Churchill. Good stuff and also the most expensive show Netflix has created.

Wife and I just finished watching the first season last night. She likes British period shows and I like historical shows, so it was a great fit.

Yeah, almost finished with the season, it's really good

(I also watch this because of my wife, I have seen basically every period drama ever made)

^I don't care about drama for just dramas sake. As such I enjoyed the look and cinematography of Downton Abbey, but didn't care much about the story that wasn't historical. Who was talking to whom didn't really interest me that much, and while it was based somewhat in historical times, it just wasn't as interesting.

The other one I have been watching with the wife recently is Outlander. She is all about it. I don't mind too much as that one has some "interesting" moments.
