However many regular workdays are left, minus Thanksgiving and Christmas. Downside to getting a job in October is that I haven't had a lot of time to build up leave by the holidays.

^same. Get a 1/2 day off the Fri before Christmas, but we usually just have a big Christmas party up until it's time to leave at noon that day, so I don't really count it.

Only HAVE to work about 8 days. Have enough vacation to cover the rest. However I'm sure I'll have to work some and will end up wasting my vacation days (they dont roll over)
