From DC. Idk yet though. I have not made a decision. Thinking about it. Possibility for sure but beyond that the future is unclear

DC is super fun. We always had so much fun up there. I never lived in NC like Joe did, but he really liked it there too. Of course Atlanta and San Diego have been the most fun for us. We've considered flying to DC for the inauguration. It's gonna be a shit show and we have a place to stay there.

Or a consultant. Or an engineer. Or a developer. Or a fucking hill staffer. Or you work for a non-profit, whatever the fuck that means

I like DC though

Cheaper taxes? Cheaper real estate. No Trump.

Why not?

On a serious note, what do you do? Do you government? If so, are you just working remotely, or are you switching jobs?

Unless you have a job lined up (depending on the field) it might be hard to find a job of equal or greater value. Also weed is legal in DC.

And isn't it fun to travel out of state and have people totally dumbfounded by your ID?

I shit you not, my sister who lives in DC, showed her ID in mooresville, nc and the lady asked her for a American identification. My sister is nice, and assumed she was confused since it says 'district of columbia'. So sister said, "no this is a DC license" hoping cashier would flip the brain switch back to 'on'.Still standing there with the 'you can't pull one over on me' look, and I chimed in and said "you know, the capitol of the United States?".... she said "this isn't a washington state ID"

another cashier stepped in and looked at the ID and said it was fine. lol, best part is the original cashier was mid 40s or 50s we held in our laughter until we got to the car

^ happens to me 4 or 5 times a year. It would probably happen more, were I not one of those people that never leave the district.
