Overall, he isn't a horrible roommate, the second worst I've had, but I have been lucky. But he just does and says dumb shit ... like running his car out of gas in front of his office, but instead of owning it and just putting gas into it, he blamed it on the cold (40*) weather, then he called AAA, then he claimed that they pumped gas into his car "so hard it shook" and that cleaned out the clogged fuel injectors. No you dipshit, you ran out of gas.

He also got fired last week from his job as a realtor for getting into one too many arguments with contractors about how the marble in each house wasn't exactly the same color.

I had to explain to my roommate last weekend that Febreze is not a disinfectant spray. I discovered this by asking him what was sprayed all over the floor of the bathroom after he used it. "Oh I accidentally dribbled outside of the bowl so I sprayed it". I then pointed out that Febreze is an air freshener. My roommate is 31 years old.

I've had spray air freshener in that bathroom since before he started living with me, over 2 years ago. God knows what else he's done with that stuff.

I've moved 12 times since graduating college, buying doesn't make sense to me and I don't like throwing away money on a single bedroom. *shrug*

The roommate also wants everyone to think he is smart, so he has to make comments about literally everything, but 9/10 times he's so wildly off the mark that you're not even sure where to start responding. Like the time he gave LunaK advice about training for a triathlon. Motherfucker, you're always whining about how injured you are from ultimate frisbee, do you really think you have worthwhile advice for an Ironman?

eh, I've moved 11 times since graduating college. Currently, I live in one of the most expensive cities in the country, and I just cannot justify buying a house right now. I mean geez, we are looking at $600K minimum for a 3 bedroom/2bath house in a shitty neighborhood.

my 3 roommates are the worst

I share a bedroom with one, and she wants to spend an hour in the bathroom, take up most of the dresser and closet space, but she does do all the cooking

I have another one that's 16 and expects me to pay for all her expenses, keep her car running pay for all her food, etc

Then the other one is 7 and she wants to buy her everything in sight.

I don't even get rent from any of them, this seems like a shitty agreement to me

Thank God I don't have to deal with roommates anymore.
I mean I guess technically a significant other is a roommate, but it's so much easier to live with a SO than a roommate. If you get angry with your SO you get it out in the open and fight then figure everything else...if you get mad at a roommate you hold it in until you eventually blow up at each other and stop talking and the friendship is ruined.

i have had a number of sketch ass people come interview, plenty of weirdos and homeless people with no job, but some of the best room mates Ive had came from CL.

the worst of CL was when I had a recovering heroin addict, which I did not know until after he moved in, he relapsed while living with us.... and had a girl OD with no pulse in our house

my record is still ZERO irreversible fatalities in my house out of the 28 room mates I've had
