Those two quotes combined with the fact that Kushner apparently has left out a ton of stuff implies to me that the "voluntary cooperation" from Trump's lawyers has somehow excluded a ton of stuff that Mueller has found via other avenues, hence the keyword requests.

At the moment that's the most likely scenario. Considering the "Pappadopolous" charge they hit him with. If you recall, Pappa' struck a deal to work with them and they hit him with the lowest charge. Likely the same with Flynn, though we won't know until further reporting comes out.

Gotta love how the White House (and Earl) keep falling for the first hit. The news of Flynn reaching a plea deal about lying comes out and they immediatly respond with "This has nothing to do with Trump", and then the second hit about him testifying against Trump comes out.
