That's not exactly what he says. While he does admit this is definitely the darkest timeline, it's also the most obvious and straightforward explanation of basically everything Russia/Trump related. It's not really any different than what many of us have been saying since 2016. At this point, probably the best argument against collusion is there's no way they'd make it this fucking obvious.

We really need Strzok to bitch slap down some of these House Republicans today. Their maneuvering is really getting out of hand, IMO.

I'm hoping Strzok is as savvy as some have suggested.

His opening statement pretty obviously states what all sane people have said all along. If he really wanted to hurt Trump he could have leaked the Russia investigation in October of 2016. He didn’t.

Also, nothing matters so Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows will get what they want out of it and Matt Gaetz will get drunk and blame the deep state.

** and this is going to be a total and complete shit-show. The GOP has COMPLETELY abdicated any oversight responsibility and today will, in essence, be discovery for Trump legal team.

Most frustrating part is the whole kabuki theater of the entire thing.

From that short clip ^^, it seems like everyone showed up with their lines already written down and an exact tit-for-tat script.

So sad where the GOP has taken this country.

Quote :
"I apologize, but I’m going to be deliberately obscure on this point (and will neither confirm nor deny if I’m asked, as it’s not something I’ve run by the Mueller team). As I have said, I don’t think I was the first person to provide information on the person I went to the FBI about. I’ll add that this person has no discernible tie to Trump or the Republican Party. But I do think I was the first person to provide certain information about him that may have widened the scope of FBI’s understanding of the matter.

Subsequent to my interview with the FBI, I realized certain things about publicly available information. I’ve never shared that realization with the government, but it’s a realization they undoubtedly came to on their own from the same publicly available information.

And that realization I had and the government surely also had would have changed the importance of evidence Mueller received via means unrelated to Peter Strzok.

That evidence likely implicates the President directly."

Mueller finally indicting 12 GRU officers for the DNC hack.

All of those who spread Seth Rich conspiracies, especially from the left, should be ashamed of themselves.

Here is the indictment:
https://www.justice.gov/file/1080281/download

Two things. Organization 1 is WikiLeaks quite obviously. Assange is a liar.

There is a candidate for Congress from 2016 who will go to jail. Read page 15-16.

^^^^ Thats a little bit misleading. The indictment says there were efforts to hack Clinton campaign emails much earlier:

Yet what Trump was publicly asking the Russians to find for were Clinton's deleted *personal* emails. The way the comment you linked to above is written, including the mention of "after hours," definitely seems to suggest the 7/27 spearphishing attempt was in response to Trump.

However, I remember this comment from the debate, and it was clearly a jab at Clinton and her inability to safeguard her communications. It just seems HIGHLY unlikely that Trump gave orders to the Russians in front of millions of people. But then again, everything trump does is defies all logic. So...

^^ Unless you're referencing a different statement, Donald Trump made the comment, "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing... I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press," during a news conference.

Doubtful. And it's possible Russia retaliates in some way via expulsions because these guys' cover-careers are now over.

Don't forget Concord and shit isn't getting anything progressed without the defendants actually appearing in court which they never will do

nah i've explained my position to you over and over and you continuously revert back to this strawman.

honestly you're as much of a waste of time as destroyer, which is disappointing considering we share mostly the same views. you're a hack socialist, more interested in proving your superiority than progressing thought through civil disagreement among allies.

Useful things to remember when the GOP trots out the ol' "Why didn't Obama do something!" talking point:

- The FBI warned the Trump campaign about Russian threats in the summer of 2016.

- When briefed on Russia's actions during the campaign in September 2016, unflushed turd Mitch McConnell not only refused to help, he threatened to discredit any attempts to warn the public as election interference by the Obama administration.

So it seems like Greenwald (or Lee Fang) is this reporter???

pg 17 of the indictment:
Quote :
"b.On or about June 27, 2016, the Conspirators, posing as Guccifer 2.0, contacted a U.S. reporter with an offer to provide stolen emails from “ Hillary Clinton’s staff.” The Conspirators then
sent the reporter the password to access a nonpublic, password-protected portion of dcleaks.com containing emails stolen from Victim 1 by LUKASHEV, YERMAKOV, and their co-conspirators in or around March 2016. "

They published this article on Oct 9th 2016:
https://theintercept.com/2016/10/09/exclusive-new-email-leak-reveals-clinton-campaigns-cozy-press-relationship/

Could be someone else, but that seems pretty on point.
