Yeah there is a sweet spot late at night with less than 10 people or so. There are less total eggs live but fewer people to get them that if you catch them quick new ones are generated with a good shot at getting them.

It's when everyone gets on that you could go an hour or so without finding one.

i thought the eggs were created and then randomly assigned to users I thought there were eggs unassigned out there waiting and then as users requested pages the eggs were assigned

that method would encourage the refreshing method instead of the current idle method. with that way the more requests a user makes the more likely they are to get an egg.

like i said i never questioned why it was done the way it was i just remember it being explained to me like that
