I enjoy their Jimmy Mustard, but they are so unwilling to put it on anything. you have to ask for it twice and then specifically tell them "no, i didn't mean Dijon. I want you to open that jar of jimmy mustard and put it on my fucking sandwich you lazy clown" 5/2/2017 3:04:09 PM |

My current list would be: Harris Teeter > Which Which = Jimmy John's > Firehouse >> Quiznos >> Subway
Firehouse used to be my #2 but they have fallen off quite a bit over recent years. or at least the one i go to has.
I don't know that i've had Jersey Mike's, honestly. Was that what was in the atrium back in the day? If so that shit was garbage, put it below quiznos 5/3/2017 9:58:51 AM |

Wasn't it a Lil Dino's in the atrium? And yes...it was pretty garbage.
My in-laws love Jersey Mikes for some odd-reason...so we've had it a couple times since they moved down here. It's good, but I prefer Jimmy Johns. 5/3/2017 10:15:43 AM |

Lil' Dinos was in the atrium back in the day.
I did like going to the one at the student center that had hot subs and waffle fries.
And I don't mind Jimmy John's, it's better than subway but jersey mikes (and which wich) are a lot better.

And all the Teeters I go to these days have let the quality of their bread slip. 5/3/2017 11:14:25 AM |

My beef with them is the product varies wildly depending on the store and who's making it. What do you all order there? Plus the bread to ingredient ratio is a way too high for me. That's one place Jimmy John's shines, especially when you select the "Take bread out" option
Quote : | "Was that what was in the atrium back in the day? If so that shit was garbage, put it below quiznos" |
Naw that was lil Dinos. Was cheap and subpar, but I'd definitely put it over Subway.

Give it a shot. It's more than your Teeter special of the day but for good reason Order it "Mike's Way' get the pepper relish too.

^yeah HT's product varies greatly. I understand that they're not hiring geniuses to work the counter, but one would think that being able to put together a good sandwich is something that even the dumbest of simpletons can master.
If I want a ton of meat I ask for the Italian. If I don't want a "huge" footlong I'll get meatball sub (b/c I keep that one basic - no veggies). Feeling "healthy" (lol) grilled chicken. 5/3/2017 2:44:00 PM |

I thought Jimmy John's was the cheapest of all the sub places (save Subway)? I know they vary with locations, but even the most expensive JJ's is cheaper than every place except for maybe Subway (I wouldn't know the price of Subway since I haven't eaten their in 10 years...I just feel like they're the cheapest).

WTF are you talking about? Jimmy Johns is cheaper than Subway, and nowhere close to Jersey Mike's prices.5/4/2017 9:16:05 AM |

Subway Italian 6" - $4.75 12" - $7.75
JJ Vito 8" - $5 "Giant" 8" (twice meat and cheese) - $6.50
Promotions really set Subway apart on the price front though with their $5-$6 footlongs and "Sub of the day." Today it's a footlong Italian BMT for $6 or a 6" for $3.50.
Jersey Mike's Italian Mini (4.5") - $6.25 Regular (7.5") - $8.65 Giant (15") - $14.65

Sprouts are loaded with nutrients, so that's one big reason why. And depending on the food type and sprout type they can add a little crunch and/or texture. 5/4/2017 1:13:45 PM |
