At your wedding, did you do anything to your hair to make sure it was good to go for pictures? I'm getting married in 2 weeks and it will be an outdoor ceremony, I never use any hair sprays, creams, or gels, and I'm worried what a windy day will do to me.

I didn't do anything, but i also have fairly short hair. If you do something, make sure to have someone (probably your wife) do it. It is easy to use too much and look like a 7th grader with crusty spikes.

your wedding is going to be great, and your hair will be good too.

I didn't do anything, but I don't have long hair. I guess this is an outdoor ceremony? I wouldn't stress about it. My brother just got married on the beach in about the windiest setting you could imagine, and he didn't do anything to his hair, and the pictures turned out great.

Trial and error is the only answer. Don't try something brand new on the most photographed and remembered day of your life.

Of note, this is also 2017 and every photograph that the photographer shows you will have been touched up at least a little. So, don't sweat it too much. If you have a funky cowlick in one or two pics because of wind they'll just photo chop it out.

^We got the minimal package, I don't think there will be any touchups beyond lighting.

^That's how I got away with not doing much with my hair in college. These days I wear a smaller, more classic looking one.

You could use a little hair cream. It will hold it in place without making it look like you're using anything.

I recommend American Crew Forming Cream.

Or you could just get a haircut, and do it the way you usually do it.

And, obw, give your best man your mancard for even asking this question.

^You must be confusing me for someone who cares how my hair looks on a daily basis. I know zero about hair products beyond knowing that I like the same shampoo I've been using since high school. I just know the pictures will look better if I don't leave the wind factor to fate.

^^I bought American Crew about a week ago, but I think it was a different kind. I've just been trying it out leading up to the wedding to see how I like it. I've had trouble finding the medium between too much and too little, but I think I'm getting there. I have 4 more tries to get it right before Sunday.

Don't forget to shave your bawls, dude. Most barbers will take care of that for you (just gotta tip them well).

Hahaha... glad I don't have this problem. Regular haircut for me and that's it. Protip: you'll be fine no matter what. Don't stress over the hair and ENJOY YOUR EXPENSIVE PARTY!

Nah bro, I'm bald and been that way for over a decade. Started balding early (23). It sucks, I wish I had hair.

^^Our party was much more affordable than most. I work at the venue and had full access to everything we needed, so we were able to do all the setting up ourselves. No decorator, no florist, and the band was my wife's brother and his friends (all professional blues and rock musicians, was a solid crew). So we only needed to hire a caterer and photographer.
