I think conservatives are sensitive as fuck these days. The jump circle defending when it comes to all things Trump is hilarious and quite pathetic. They've literally taken over the snowflake mantel.

We've arrived at a place here in America where no one can complain without being perceived as a snowflake, regardless of the side you're on.

TWW Political Compass Insult Guide 2017:

Snowflake = Pussy
(fair use either way)

Triggered = U mad
(primarily used by right, makes fun of leftist "trigger warnings")

SJW = insult for marxist/useful idiot on the far left
(exclusive use from right)

When did the meaning of Snowflake as an insult change?

It used to be used for people who thought they were totally unique and special (like snowflakes), which is why right wing people used the term "special snowflakes" especially for liberal college students and the like. This made sense at least.

Then at some point it morphed into people who are sensitive, which doesn't make sense because the people who use the term snowflake are most likely to morph into a screaming ball of impotent rage as soon as you say Happy Holidays to them.

By nature the party in power is always going to be more sensitive. They have something to defend. Those on the attack are not going to be nearly as sensitive.

^yeah that makes sense. it's mostly just funny that the ones yelling about "triggered liberal snowflakes" seem to be just as triggered and sensitive/fragile about everything too.

100% of the people who post these threads are gross looking people that no one will be friends with IRL, so they have to do this to make their poor, sensitive ego feel better

on a similar note I hate trump as much as any other liberal but I wish some of the late night shows would just give it a little bit of a rest, I'd like to see james corden's personality in terms of actual funny jokes around/things that happen then jumping on trump non stop, seems like there's def going to be some trump vs the media documentary to come out within 2-3 years of his hopefully one term presidency

What does a gif of Sarah Huckabee Sanders bitching at a reporter have to do with the topic?

Best post in here!

Welcome to post-11/9. Let me bring you up to speed.
- Donald Trump won the election and is the President, despite the celebrity outcry to try and convince electors to not vote for him (Note 1: More people ditched Clinton than Trump) (Note 2: Ron Paul won an electoral vote!).
- Hillary Clinton is blaming other people (mostly Russia, although she has some crazy other conspiracy theories).
- A new group of people called "anti-fa" for "anti-facist" rose up to "protest" (spoken: riot), funded by George Soros, and dedicated to the violent overthrow of the Trump administration.
- President Trump has begun to dismantle Obama's legacy.
- The major news media organizations (CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, NYT, WaPo) have literally lost their S#!T trying to "cover" President Trump's administration. They have pushed stories without sourcing to push many false narratives about President Trump and how he is anti-science, anti-women, anti-world, anti-poor, and anti-nice. Many of those stories have been corrected for the record after people found out facts.
- Atypical of a normal conservative politician, President Trump has gone after those news media personalities (CNN, MSNBC) who have attacked him and his family personally. Here is where the greatest example of hypocrisy by the media has been observed. CNN alone has had to fire five people due to either their inaccurate reporting (spoken: lies) about President Trump, or their vicious personal attacks on him and his person (Reza Aslan and Kathy Griffin).
//added//- After months and months of the media's brazen attacks on President Trump, and the inability of any successes by Democrats to do anything, a Berniebro attempted the assassination of Republican Congressmen practicing for the Annual Congressional Baseball game. The media was quick to blame Republicans for the Liberal's attempted assassination.
- The Democratic Party has no leader in Congress under the age of 70, while it attempts to reach out to a younger base with the same message Clinton ran on in 2016: "Trump is mean." Success is still pending.
- Every political campaign for congress as a result of President Trump's Cabinet picks where a Democrat has ran against a Republican has resulted in ZERO victories for those anti-Trump forces (that is, Democrats). Notably, a twelve year old child with the backing of millions of dollars of Hollywood money ran against Georgia's Secretary of State (a woman) and lost horribly. In his concession speech, he claimed victory.
- President Trump successfully nominated a terrifically conservative to the Supreme Court, and the Senate removed the filibuster from all Presidential appointees. The Court stands at 4-4-1, with Anthony Kennedy as the lone "independent" on the bench.
- Anthony Kennedy has been rumored to strongly considering retiring after this term.
- President Trump, using his Constitutional authority as President, has successfully banned travel from seven countries whose vetting process cannot be guaranteed to ensure no radical Islamic terrorists could enter the U.S. to perpetrate attacks against U.S. citizens. Those on the left who don't understand executive power and the U.S. Constitution, to include many Obama-appointed federal judges, have unsuccessfully attempted to re-write the Constitution. The media has assisted in portraying the ban as a Muslim ban, although (again), facts are not in their favor.
- Finally, and to reiterate, Donald Trump is the President of the United States, and Hillary Clinton is just a grandma with Parkinson's (pending confirmation of anonymous sources).

The president of the United States, the same president who is getting ready to get us into a physical war with NK and also a resulting trade war with China, is tweeting a GIF of him fake tackling someone during a fake wrestling match.

Any sane person in his position would try to distance himself from his celebrity past. But nope. Not this guy.

Did Ronald Reagan overtly use his celebrity status in any way to promote his presidency? That's a valid question - I haven't seen anything that speaks to the topic.

Yes, the POTUS tweeted a joke about the same network that employed:

-The crazy bitch who held up a fake bloody head of Trump
-The play where Trump is assassinated
-The DNC bitch who leaked debate questions to Clinton

And plenty more...

Fake news isn't good for America. Go find something else to be triggered by than a joke gif for fucks sake.

i was wondering the same thing. and i was wondering why people are so triggered over it, since it's a play about Julius Caesar, who is assassinated, and apparently they did they same thing to obama, and I don't recall all the triggeredness over that.

anywyas, i've noticed in memes the past on facebook, and especially over the 4th weekend, some right-wingers are really triggered about stories about "liberals offended by american flag because it offends muslims", and HOAs making people take down their flags because it offends people.... is this really a thing? are there really "liberals" who are "offended" by the american flag? or is it mostly just fake-news put out there to further perpetuate victim-mentality among the right-wing sheep?

It's faux outrage.

HOA's suck and I bet one or a few have a rule against placement of flags in certain places and people took that as "duh librulz made me do it."

The fact that you have to constantly tell everyone you know that legitimate news sources are fake, while actively seeking out and sharing known-to-be fake articles says it all about you and your people, JCE.
