Our guys played hard all game, and keatts is playing a deep bench with effective rotations. They are looking good and was glad to see them play hard even when the other team was draining everything.

Really looking forward to when abu gets back.

To be fair, Herb is/was a mediocre coach with mediocre results and worse results since he left. Our fuckup was letting him leave on his terms rather than firing his ass when there were good coaches available and willing to come (you could argue his butt buddy staus in the coaching ranks meant noone good was coming). Sid Lowe was a disaster but all in all, I appreciate the Gott teams. It was time for him to go, but he brought the program back to respectability.

We went to four NCAA tournaments in five years and two of those we made it to the sweet 16 with Gott.

He's not a great coach, but he managed to put together some teams at NC State that made noise. Other than a couple first round upsets of number 1 teams (which we had to do because we were a bottom seeded team) in the NCAA tournament no coach since V had done anywhere near that well.

He couldn't win with his own recruits and put together the worst NC State basketball team I've ever seen. Worse than any Sidney Lowe or Les Robinson garbage.

But he told jokes that simpletons could understand and supposedly had a flashy offense, so put his name up in the rafters.
