Anyone have experience with a fly fishing guide in Western, NC? I'm thinking about booking a guided trip for my dad for Christmas. 12/6/2017 3:50:18 PM |

Did a watauga float trip with these dudes about a year ago. I did no research on various guides as someone else booked the trip and he apparently went to high school with the owner of this particular company. Had a blast.
I'm not someone thats booked a ton of guides but it seems like if they are a legit professional (has a decent website, answers your emails/phone calls) you will probably be alright. You will catch fish with any of them, most of the time their prices are pretty similiar (screaming deals don't really exist unless you book during one of their really slow times). 12/7/2017 5:46:32 AM |

They have 3 different guides, I’ve fished with Kyle before on lake Fontana. It wasn’t fly fishing, but he was a really good guide. He was personable, and put us on a lot of fish. I’d imagine he does just as well fly fishing. 12/7/2017 9:02:05 AM |
