Rolo Tomassi album is very solid. Still been enjoying Hovvdy some too even though it's nothing new.

Yep, Lucy Dacus album is great, as are the new Mount Eerie and Amen Dunes. The new Decemberists record is dreadful though. I think it’s somehow worse than their last one

I heard an interview with Superchunk this morning about their newest album released in February... the clips they played sounded really good, may get it this weekend. They're playing at CC next Friday.

^^ no, I dig the song, but the 2nd half > 1st half. I love the 90s rock element they've brought on their last record and now this one too. NPR nailed it referencing smashing pumpkins and red house painters. They do it really well.
