Anyone else play? I've been playing for a week now but haven't made it past Q6. Although I usually stick around after I'm eliminated to see the other questions and how much the people win. The one time where I knew every question except the one that eliminated me, the final prize was like $1.06.

Best round I've had was missing Q11(knew Q12 too). Was infuriating.

Also hate that I had 2 extra lives for friends trying out the game but instead of letting me pick when to use them(like I assumed), it automatically uses your extra lives. So when I missed like a Q5 or so and closed the app, I could have kept going but didn't even pay attention.

Scott is great though. Like that they increased the money totals, but wish they'd invest a little more in their app/network because it's laggy regularly and I've seen instances where answers never appeared so it was an automatic missed question.

I've noticed this too. Q1 and 2 are giveaways. Q3, 4, 5 are progressively harder. Then usually around 6 or 7 it is easy again.


On the extra lives -- they just changed it in the last update so that you can use them whenever you want. I'd save them for the next $15k one. If I had any extra lives that is haha.

When I first stated I hated Scott and thought he was super annoying but he's grown on me. They randomly had some girl host a few days ago and people in the chat were LIVID.

few times i've tried it's been glitchy and laggy as hell...maybe i have shitty wifi but it's made it unplayable. more than once there was a lag between the dude's voice asking the question and the question appearing on the screen. so i'd try to select the right answer but time would be up by the time the question would display on the screen. think the furthest i ever got was about 5 or 6.

seemed really fun and neat when it worked properly for me. but it became more of a hassle than anything so i quit.

They had to restart two days in a row. I guess there are some challenges doing a live stream to 1M+ people, but they better get that shit sorted out if they want to stay relevant.

I assume all the people who play this are on iOS? I searched for the app a few days ago and nearly all the Android reviews mentioned that the connection was so unreliable that it wasn't even playable.

I've played this twice so far...I only downloaded because I know Scott and randomly saw his picture on the Yahoo homepage a couple weeks ago when they got hacked or something. So far Scott hasn't been the host either time. Seems like no one likes the girl, based on the comments. Also, who the hell wastes their time typing out a comment that disappears after a quarter of a second?

Anyways, I think it's kind of funny how the questions go from difficulty level stupid to smart so quickly. I wish the earlier game wasn't at 3 though, not a great time for anyone with a stock market related job

When I played last week, there were 2,6xx winners, everybody got just $1.1x.

Right now, just 28 winners, everybody got $90

Question 4 brought it down from like 7xx,xxx players to 36,xxx only (some stupid Starburst colors question).

On Superbowl Sunday, they had a $20k pot, but I think a few hundred people won so the final prize was ~$50. Still, nothing to scoff at. I'm still pretty sure that anyone that makes it beyond question 10 is either cheating or just lucky.

I play HQ and CashShow.

I like CashShow better.

With CashShow, there are 12 questions. The first 6 are for no prize. But questions 6-12, you can win money for each correct answer. So if question 6 is for $150 (of a $2500 total prize), and only 25 get it right, then each of the 25 wins $6. And that is yours even if you don't get any farther in the game. You get the money you earn.

The CashShow questions don't go from easy to hard like HQ. A few times I've played, the first or second question is the "savage" question. Also the host's intro is pre-recorded and pretty short compared to HQ. And there's no talking in between questions.

But they have shown that Google trends for certain words have spiked during game play.

I knew the answer by elimination, ND was the highest picked answer and I think most of the USA knows that their mascot is a Leprechaun, not really a religious symbol.

I think people missing on the first 2 questions are people who are having lag/gitch issues or someone who clicked the wrong thing by accident. I HATE that you can't change your answer after you click one. Like Heaven-forbid I fat-finger it and still have time to correct it within the 10 seconds.
