Because this is not the 2015-2016 team playing right now.

Currently a 7 seed on ESPN's bracketology.
AP #27
Coaches #26

Lot of talent on that team. Seem to be pretty good at basketball too.

After losing four senior starters, Moore should be national COY for what they've done.

#19 RPI

AP & Coaches poll both have us ranked #25

ESPN is projecting us as a 4 seed playing in Raleigh for the opening rounds.

#18 RPI
AP #21, Coaches poll #22
Still projecting as a 4 seed playing in Raleigh for the opening rounds.

Should easily handle Pitt on Thursday, then we'll likely lose at ND on Sunday, which would lock us in as the 4 seed in the ACC tournament giving us a double-bye. If the standings stay as they are now, winner of Wake/Pitt would play Duke, and the winner of that game would play us (Friday, March 2).

Finished regular season 22-7 (11-5). #5 going into ACC tournament.

The women's team will finish with a better record and yet will probably have the same or worse seed in the ACCT than the men's team. Should have a much higher NCAA seed though...just goes to show how good the conference is.

Awesome win today! 3-0 vs UNC this season.

Playing Duke tomorrow, will be tough but I think we can pull it out or at the very least keep it close.

I don't think there's any possible way we beat Louisville the day after.

Taking care of business! Still not optimistic about playing Louisville, but reaching the ACC semifinals is definitely going to bump up our seed

3 point game going into 4th. Missed a couple of chances there to tie or even take the lead.

5 pt loss to Louisville. Great ACC season though. Louisville and ND are just on another level talent wise from most everyone else in the ACC.

Selection show just referred to NC A&T, the 15-seed playing #2 SCar, as NC State. 15-Fail.

Duke is a 5 seed and FSU a 3...we finished in between them in the ACC so we should hopefully get the 4 (and host the first 2 rounds)

First Sweet16 appearance since 2007. That year we were also the 4-seed and lost to #1 UConn.

Will play Friday, March 23, either at 7:00 or 9:00, against #1 MissSt (or if by some ridiculous miracle, #9 OK St)

MissSt's only loss this season is to SCar in the SEC championship game. Not going to be very optimistic going into that one but hopefully we'll still have a solid performance to be proud of.

1.) Ok St win against Miss St.

This was one hell of a season. Finished with the most wins of any Pack Women's team since the 90-91 season. First Sweet 16 run since 06-07 (and first time in the post-Kay era). Only once have we ever made it past the Sweet 16 (got to the Final 4 in 97-98),

Two straight years of 12 ACC wins good for #4 in the conference. Konig, Ealy, Leslie, Nelson, Maize all years, only Ealey averaged less than double digits per game this year with 8.9. Of the main 5, Nelson is the only graduating senior. She was the top scorer this year but with the other core 4 remaining I'm certain we'll see another stellar team next year.
