Markell is the ACC assist leader and probably plays TOO much team ball and is perhaps the only offensive bright spot on our team this game. Yurt shoots when the play is clearly designed for him to pick on popovic. He can take that hook in the lane all day as far as I am concerned. Al? well, you got me on Al.

on offense, we are shooting 44% and 6/14 from 3. 10 assists on 19fgs. that isn't great, but it certainly isn't shitty.

Thats the thing though, when you suck on defense, you have to have a brilliant offensive performance just to have a chance to win. Thats why bad defense is so unsustainable and why I was the only one who noticed it in the Chapel hill game.

We were 35% at halftime but have come out hitting this half to improve the %. had no offensive rhythm in the first half...partly because of the personnel in the game (a lotta Abu, Hunt, and Batts). Also 3/9 FTs.

I get your point and you’re partly right. But we played very bad in the 1st half on both sides of the ball.
