Anyone watching? I just caught up last night and it's definitely a new favorite. Easiest synopsis is it's Dennis from It's Always Sunny as a Harvard philosopher stuck teaching a high school class. There are some small differences in the character, he's a bit smarter and bit more caring, but mostly the same.

I watched a few minutes of the pilot and thought it was kind of meh, but that's only based on a few minutes.

its an over the top unrealistic show and they could have made it better with a little bit of effort. the kids are about on a 5th grade level of intelligence and some scenes are put in just to shit on teachers like the union lady releasing the dogs. did we really need another show shitting on this profession?

Very meh show so far, but I've enjoyed it enough to keep watching.

My only issue is why Glen Howerton wanted to put this ahead of Always Sunny. If he wanted a new challenge or something, then fine. But so far this character is like a knock-off Dennis Reynolds.
