All my eggs came in bunches (clicking on one egg led to another, led to another), so if I saw one I would get 3 or 4 out of it. But the instances of them showing up at all were LOW.

Next year I propose turning it into an actual hunt. Randomly replace a smiley OR have a random link in every thread redirect to a found egg captcha. Eggs are per-user. Every user has a chance to find the egg hidden in every thread. The more you read/browse/post, the more you're bound to find.

then the last few minutes is the mad dash. Each egg is worth 5, but they disappear once found (remove per-user condition.)
