Considering Germany is actually at record low crime levels now, and Trump even brought Germany up completely out of the blue in the context of our child/family internment problem now, how else can you parse these statements?

Isn't the subtext here clearly that Trump's belief is that immigration is undermining the white race, this is problematic, and mass detainment of immigrants, suspension of legal status for existing immigrants, and termination of legal immigration all is justified to keep American white as possible?

This seems to be the best articulation of the tactic Trump likes to use, going back all the way to Obama's birth certificate, saying economic numbers are fake, saying he has secret evidence about things, saying he has the largest inaugural crowd size, now saying immigrants are rapists and criminals and destroying Europe.

Even if none of this is factually true, he knows it influences people just by hearing him say it since we all project our own motivations onto Trump, and most people can't empathize with lying so blatantly to billions of people the way Trump does.

He literally launched this iteration of his political career on an explicitly racist conspiracy theory. And introduced his campaign with an explicitly racist statement. Yeah, he’s a racist piece of shit.

And the media and press looked for every possible angle to explain him otherwise and still hasn’t come to grips with it.

Except Germany does have a surge in violent crime being predominantly driven by refugees. Considering that the report above claims that north African migrants are causing more crime than migrants from war-torn countries, and the upheaval in Germany right now is regarding North African migrants flooding into Italy and Spain only to then travel to Germany and claim asylum there instead, Trump's comments are inline with what is actually happening in Germany right now.

I find these two situations to be very different. One reason being the population and culture of the Southwest and the majority of the US is intertwined with Mexico and Central America. Regardless of your race the areas rely heavily on each other and many families exist across the boarders and have for generations.

I’m not sure what the solution is to the Germany issue or if the numbers reported in that story are accurate.

This logic in this thread is fascinating. How can you make multiple posts in other threads about how walls don't work and then follow that up with some diatribe about how a wall is going to create a white ethnostate? I know that it's splitting hairs, but I think that the difference is that white supremacists prefer that minorities remain an underclass while white nationalists prefer that minorities be expelled from the nation entirely.

They seem to be acting as a united front lately, so the distinction seems trivial, even if accurate.

But you do hit on a point that has occurred historically. That is to say, the political unification of the business owning class and liberal capitalist class with out-and-out blood and soil fascists. While one group would prefer "responsible immigration" because "weee need migrant and unskilled laborz!!! Who's gonna work the kitchens and custodial and underpaid field jobs!?!?!". While the other group is openly salivating at the possibility of forced migration and using calipers to measure skull shapes and determine citizenship.

If liberals fail this test, much like they failed with DACA, they will end up compromising with the foaming-at-the-mouth right wing to support the construction of a border wall. And they'll be dumb enough to celebrate that as a political victory without realizing that they just moved the needle even further to the right so that the next right-wing lizard can come in and begin suggesting that citizenship be revoked for anyone without two US born parents and forced deportation of all undesirables.
