My dad died. Last winter Tony died.

Quit my cruise company job to go save a dying dinner train, lived the dream in the locomotive, got absorbed into top-level management, got fired by a new owner for nearly replacing one of her pets, went back to running the cruise company.

Close to being single again. Boss needs the money and asked me to move in with his family - and he needs me on stable ground because I'm an engine here.

The chef on the train said it was gonna be a roller coaster but he never said it goes upside down. Been the ride of my life, these past 12 months.
