The NFL has totally lost control of this. If they had just ignored it last year, it wouldn't be a huge issue this year. Yes the President would probably still make some dumb comment, but the average fan wouldn't care. Now, it's BLOWN UP and their proposed rule [on hold] is almost exactly what the NBAs rule has been for decades.
FFS, just let the players kneel and don't make a big deal out of it and this will stop being news. OR maybe give a fuck about why the players feel like they shouldn't stand and perhaps create a cause month for that. I mean, they already make them wear pink for a whole month, and Cammo for another.

I feel like the easiest way to invade America would be to loudly blare the national anthem to freeze the American defenses. Then you can do whatever you want for that 2-3 minutes.
