The republicans public intent is to remove Biden from office, the very low chance of that coming to pass is irrelevant to questioning the intent.
When Trump was being impeached the vast majority supporting impeachment would have said having Pence is the lesser of two evils/better. It's a fair question to ask the folks pushing this if they'd rather have Kamala and/or what's next if they succeed in removal.
So I couldn't tell if you were making a sort of tongue in cheek comment or implying my question was nonsense. Obviously the end of the question went to extreme but i truly want to know if republicans would be happier with president kamala Harris. 9/13/2023 7:48:41 PM

You are thinking rationally, but they aren't. This is primarily about owning the libs and getting back at what they did to Daddy Trump. They don't think further ahead than that or they would realize the absurdity. Barring some indisputable bombshells, the answer to how many impeachments before McCarthy becomes President is infinity. 9/13/2023 8:01:13 PM

I know their public intent and private intent are different, but I think it would be fun if a journalist asked them to discuss this scenario that follows their public intent. Would they "endorse" Harris as the better option or say "she's next on our list"? 9/13/2023 8:15:15 PM

So druggies can’t buy guns while using drugs? But alcoholics can buy guns no problem?

https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/19/politics/witness-testimony-disputes-irs-whistleblower-hunter-biden/index.html
Quote : | "New testimony from a number of FBI and Internal Revenue Service officials casts doubt on key claims from an IRS whistleblower who alleges there was political interference in the federal criminal investigation of Hunter Biden's taxes.
According to transcripts provided to CNN, several FBI and IRS officials brought in for closed-door testimony by House Republicans in recent days said they don't remember US Attorney David Weiss saying that he lacked the authority to decide whether to bring charges against the president's son, or that Weiss said he had been denied a request for special counsel status.
Those twin claims, made by IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley, form the basis of Republican accusations that the Justice Department's investigation into Biden's taxes was tainted by political influence and that Weiss and Attorney General Merrick Garland tried to protect Hunter Biden in the investigation.
The new testimony comes as House Republicans begin an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden and his family, potentially undercutting one element of that effort." |
