Anyone have any reccommendations? Seems like a lot of the old shops have closed down.
The Clutch reservoir ran low, so have Air in the system. Its on a 05 GTO. 1/22/2019 11:08:01 AM |

Are you just bleeding the hydraulics, then? 1/22/2019 12:49:37 PM |

You don't need a transmission shop to do that work.
I have two shops who I would recommend Epic Auto off of capital/greshams lake. Tech there has a GTO so he knows what to do GMP in Apex, three GM master techs there also.
You could just bleed it. If its like the F-body, its a pain but possible to do. That doesnt fix the leak though.
Pretty much need to remove the trans and replace the slave cylinder. Might as well put a remote bleeder and replace the line while you are there. If you have the funds, do the clutch at the same time. 1/22/2019 3:19:32 PM |

Its not pushing things, its about 375 to the wheels and 75k.
I figure it is the slave, hence the desire to take it too a shop that knows what the fuck they are doing. I'm considering a LS7 clutch installed instead of the LS2. 1/23/2019 12:17:53 AM |
