Great fight to get one back, and the power play we had right before the end of the period looked worlds different than their previous efforts. Much faster with the puck, and more confident.

Goddamn the caps are so good in transition. Every time two forwards enter the zone with some speed it’s terrifying.

Ejection was absolutely bullshit but I didn't necessarily have a problem with the call in general. Hell, there should have been two penalties anyway because he got high sticked just a second before he got hit.

Losing an entire line has hurt this team significantly. The 4th line has become the 3rd and our 4th is basically all checkers. It's going to take everything they've got to win tonight. I hope Martinook or Ferland come back tonight. Svech shouldn't be allowed to come back this quickly after a concussion. All are game time decisions.

yeah theres no denying the caps are far more talented at forward, even without our injuries. in the two wins, the canes have had to play so much harder and make up for their lack of skill with quantity of chances.

we are still in it so I don't want to look ahead right now, but regardless of how these playoffs go the canes need to add scoring. sure maybe necas or gauthier take the next step but that should be a bonus, not something that is being relied upon.

heading out to PNC now -- LETS GO CANES, the caps are going to be out for blood. it's gonna be a greasy one, hope the canes keep their wits about them and keep their ass out of the penalty box
