8 candles should be on the same level as each other, with one elevated (typically is in the middle or on either end). The higher candle is lit first, and is then used to light all the other candles.
From the lighter's perspective, the candles increase from right to left, with the newest candle being lit by the higher candle first. 12/28/2019 12:00:22 AM |
