A lot of the support I've seen for him has the same consistent theme of Tucker basically affirming their suspicions in a more solid way.

So a lot of people enjoy his alarmist tones because it confirms their unfounded suspicions into something which they perceive to be more 'founded'.

Most of his people probably already have the inclinations already, whatever 'isms' they may be.

Tucker's problem is that the job of being a news reporter was being approached with the perspective of a politician - "we gotta appeal to xyz to work within the system, but I actually believe abc".

But media has become so intertwined with politics and cable media itself has a lot of issues

Now depending on your views, you can argue that the right side is worse (I'd agree they're more extreme) and that it is about democracy
but we can't really pretend most of media has pretty clearly taken sides

hence, I said that he approached the job of a reporter/newsdude through the method of a politican
