I'm most annoyed with this on shows like Westworld and the various Walkings Deads

the showrunner is like "In this episode we did ______."
and I'm like "If you'd done a good job of it you wouldn't have to tell me but now I know who to blame so thanks for owning how much you suck."

Show, don't tell, dipshit.
