Was a fairly boring game honestly. I was distracted somewhat with work stuff, but there never seemed to be much going on for long stretches. Real was definitely playing for 0-0.

Klopp with a strange starting lineup yesterday but fixed it with subs. Mane and Salah both looked out of gas early. Luis Diaz is a game-changer for us. Happy and surprised to get out with a clean sheet

Inter should have def had one between the crossbar shot and the wrong/short guy being on the end of a top-notch cross. Agree that the lineup was odd for Liverpool, Elliott looked lost which isn't that surprising given his age and lack of recent minutes. Diaz is electric, looks like a very nice pickup.

One of the most entertaining 0-0 games ever. Hate we lost obviously but especially hate that a game that great was decided by freaking keepers taking PKs. Why not just start back at 1 instead of the keepers doing something they never do? That's like changing the NFL over time rules to have the QBs kick FGs to determine the winner lol.

First off Congrats to Liverpool, a very entertaining match and your GK took his spot kick very well. Both teams had chances and defensively I believe these are the 2 best teams in the world.

That said Chelsea had the best chance and unfortunately our biggest weakness is what lost the game for us and that is creating/finishing in the final third. Not that Liverpool didn't have chances watching 37 year old Thiago Silva cover that much ground to keep Salah's chip out (I think based on angle it would have hit post but with spin it could have gone over line).

Fully expect Chelsea to crash out of the FA cup tomorrow. Injuries, media scrutiny and fatigue will probably get to them.

On a different subject with the Ref's association admiting that Chris Kavanagh fucked up what should his punishment be?

Wasn't surprised about the ceremonial "stepping back" nonsense, but this is actually very surprising. Honestly though, he's going to sell it to somebody who will keep the money pouring in, it's not like they're going to go back to the "no history" era. I wouldn't be the slightest bit concerned if I was a Chelsea fan.

^2 and a half years ago I would have believed you. However, this is a post COVID world and it won't be one owner. Abramovich didn't care if he lost money he wanted the club to be successful. Not to say new owners will destroy the club but it may mean, that we won't be spending like Roman did. Thankfully our Academy is pretty strong and set for success in long term. In short term it makes me worry about Rudiger who has yet to sign a contract. Christensen has already agreed to go to Barca and Azpi looks set to leave as well. That will leave us with Silva, Chalobah, and Sarr as our only CB's on senior team with experience.

The rumors of the buyers don't give me much hope either, ie. no Arab Oil money. I would not mind Sir Jim as he is a Chelsea fan but he would be using an Investment Group so he wouldn't be sole owner.
