KFC is likeeee ok, I guess

Hardee's, I tried it twice - the first one wasn't very good (too chewy), the second one was ok (a little crispier and less chewy), not worth going back for except I have BOGOF coupons and they're worth it for that price. but didn't taste anything like their tenders or regular chicken (which are both da bombbbbb )

haven't tried Popeye's but have heard mostly good things except for a handful of people who said they didn't like it. but I'll assume it's the best one

I've always been a big fan of CFA's, though they occasionally get it wrong (I guess all of them are trying to emulate CFA?)

haven't tried BK. McD's seemed like kindaaaa just the same as their other chicken (i.e. not so good)

so what are these sandwiches missing? MSG? some special flavor or spice? it seems like they'd really want to try to perfect the recipe and not release something just for the heck of it

though I guess they're getting decent business just from people trying them

your thoughts, sirs and madams?

Imo its chickfila, popeyes, wendys. Any other places with a chicken sandwich have have better options and a weaker chicken sandwich.

the McDonalds and Burger King sandwiches don't even have a separate spicy chicken breast like Chick-Fil-A and Wendy's do, it's just the regular chicken sandwich with some spicy sauce added.

I go to char-grill every couple months or so. I probably go to Chick-Fil-A several times a year. I've been to a Popeye's 3 or 4 times in the last few years (there chicken sandwich is reallly good). I remember going to a McDonald's for the first time in a while two summers ago. I remember going to a Wendy's and a Hardee's a few years ago. I can't recall the last time I went to a BK or KFC.

Chik fil a only hires middle class and upper middle class Christian kids who are generally going to do a better job prepping the sandwiches than the typical person at another fast food. Their secret is not the food or recipes, it’s how they motivate their workers. The people working ever so slightly are doing it for more than just the paycheck and fear of being jobless.

Some years back their southern style chicken sandwich (which was pretty much a note for note rip-off of the CFA one) was imo just as good as CFA and much cheaper. plus you weren't supporting anti-lgbt+ causes with your money. The only reason i see these sandwiches as failing is that middle/upper class white people want to support chick-fil-a and their political stances.
