Did anyone else ever have a real sports star come visit their school and say inspirational stuff to the kids?

The closest we had was Jamie Barnett but all he did was stare at us from the stage while some other guy talked about drugs

Probably said he’s short and don’t do drugs or you’ll look like me

Jamie Barnett said don’t do drugs or youll be a crappy QB that plays for Mike O Cain

Bill Werber talked to my Cub Scout troop once about life and baseball, and Sir Purr visits tons of schools.

A really old baseball player. Born in 1908, he was the oldest living MLB player at one point before he died

Lol
Quote :
"Prior to his death, Werber said that he no longer watched baseball. One of his stated reasons was that he was dismayed to see Johnny Damon's long hair and beard.[1] In 2008, Werber said, "I don't like the appearance of a lot of the players. The hair's too long. Their beards are too evident. They're a grubby-looking bunch of caterwaulers."[2]"

What a fucking dick

So the only person that came was some old man no one has heard of? What kind of school did you go to

It was a cub scout troop, for some badge we were doing, don't remember which.

Sir Purr visited my middle school once, does that count? Otherwise, the guy with the most cachet I can think of is Larry Sprinkle, the aptly-named weatherman

Now, I once played a soccer game against Steve Smith's son, and Smith was there. And when I worked as a cashier I *almost* rang up an order for Kurt Coleman.

Mugsy Bogues visited my middle school. Also, some other light-skinned player stood beside one of the shorter teachers while she was standing on a chair. I don't think it was Kelly Tripucka.

Maybe it was Rex Chapman and he was telling your teacher some red hot takes from Twitter
