^ frozen banana is the base; did you do strawberries for flavor? what you trying next? i bet peaches/nectarines would be awesome.

Sams has the best peaches. Just bought 8 pack today. As season starts its usually 9-10 pack, as season winds down its usually 7-8 pack. I like big peaches. No 7 packs available yet but have an 8 pack that are about 2-3 days away from edible. I eat one a day…these were picked july 27. Bought them 2 days ago. Perhaps i will try them with bananas too. I think bananas are to make more creamy. Like i said, first time with 2 frozen bananas/10 strawberries was super awesome

Aldi has strawberries $1/pint…going to get 3. I could buy whole strawberries frozen, but want like super fresh

Will post a pic if i try with peaches instead of strawberries(have like about a pint of blueberries that are about to go old, might try them too although i bet not nearly as good)

Why? Fruit is not an essential ingredient in ice cream. I'm sure there are some specialty mayonnaises with fruit just like there are specialty ice creams with fruit.

1) it isn't creamy. I don't think you understand what creamy means.

2) ice cream has an actual (legal) definition, and ground up frozen fruit is not it.

Calling things ice cream that aren't remotely even close to what actually is ice cream is ridiculous. As such i will call this delicious fruity cold mayonnaise. That is no more ridiculous (or any less true than calling it ice cream)

I would eat it, but there is no cream in it, and in fact no dairy of any kind. I think folks would go a little easier on this if it included milk or yogurt as a third ingredient.

Delicious. I slathered some ice cream on two slices of honey wheat ice cream, then cut up a ripe ice cream from the garden and slapped that on there. So juicy. Can't beat a good ice cream in the summertime.
