Would you do $55/paycheck HSA, $55/paycheck ppo, or $90/paycheck ppo?
Hsa seems kind of cool, seems like a 401k, company matches some money amd unused amount goes to the next year etc.
A few folks have told me they think HSA is dumb and should get a ppo. 11/13/2021 10:36:54 PM |

HSA is cool imo. Had an HSA eligible plan for a while and I liked it. Contributions aren’t taxed. And if you change plans later down the road to a non HSA plan, you still have the money for future medical expenses.
You can use HSA on a lot of stuff. Glasses, contacts, some dental stuff. Some OTC stuff too, i think.
I guess if you have virtually 0 medical expenses then an HSA isn’t as appealing. But since the money rolls over every year, it’s kinda safe to assume you’ll have some medical expenses eventually.
