It’s a Greek word that was made over 3000 years ago. There are several accepted ways to pronounce it. If your brain ads an N to it your reading comprehension skills are suspect. Not surprising for our president but that shouldn’t be what we all strive for given his speaking track record.

While I agree that the president should correctly state the name of a new variant, I disagree that calling in Omnicron, which you'll notice lots of people do if you speak to them, is a sign of any diminished mental capacity.

Are you concerned in general that Biden's general speaking abilities do not meet the standards befitting a president? If so, could you name which presidents you think did hit that mark?

It's not about not knowing what's correct or not being able to interpret the text. If you weren't in a fraternity with that letter, it's a pretty obscure part of the lexicon. I'm glad you've never misspoken a word that you could actually read, or swapped the word order in a sentence without realizing it.

Omnicron also sounds like a badass Transformer.

Going to see family after Christmas, everyone is vaccinated and a few have had it recently, but it’s likely the last Christmas with my grandpa after we couldn’t come down last Christmas when my grandma was in the hospital and passed away. Getting a lot of pressure to go but am nervous because it’s Georgia and I don’t trust people, and don’t want to put work through my quarantine or worse expose the two I share an office with to take home to their parents.
