a 6th and 7th 2023 pick, could easily be packaged together to get a 5th rounder. There's WAY more value in the 5th than what Robbie offered on the field.

^^ to be clear, I’m not saying we shouldn’t have traded Anderson. I think it was good to trade him. I think the return we got was appropriate. Dude wasn’t producing and never really had any significant trade value to begin with. He’s basically had 1 good season ever.

So when Panthers trade McCaffrey they will take on around $18.2 million in dead cap space. Not sure how that will break down since he is signed through 2025.

So potentially with him and Anderson gone we will have about $16 million less in cap space next season. Need to get a good number of draft picks and hope we hit on half of them otherwise it will be another several years of terrible football and it won't matter who coach is.

Yup. Look across the league. There’s plenty of teams putting up better results without a stud QB. NYG is 5-1 with Daniel Jones! The Falcons are somehow treading water with Mariota. Same for Seattle with Geno and NO with Winston/Taysom Hill/Andy Dalton.

You can contend for a wild card spot with meh QB play. You won’t win a super bowl. But there are plenty of teams that have out performed the panthers with some pretty shitty QB play over the last few years.
