OP, are you into EDM? If so, what do you like?

I listen to psytrance, melodic trance, melodic techno, melodic house, vocal trance, epic trance, chillout, ambient, German vocal trance, classic Euro Disco/Dance, and perhaps some other subgenres. A lot of times I don't even know how to classify a given track. My ears know what I like and what I don't; I don't look at names of genres.

I don't like hardcore techno or basically any track with jarring sounds. I want it to be smooth and melodic.

I go to psytrance events and I even play out from time to time as a DJ (although I will deny that's what I am). I'm also into gabber and classic 90s rave.

Not a connoissuer of it by any means, I last listened to it extensively back in 2014-2016 when it had that world popularity (was a middle schooler then).

Then I recently logged into an old account and found some old playlists and now have started going into it more, and I subscribe to that thing you said about "my ear tells me what I want" and yeah, wanting something with smooth transitions.
I really like Hardwell's 2013-14 livesets.
