For a laptop charger I can see it, I guess. For a phone charger, probably not.

When I was in school, i accidentally left my car unlocked one time after returning to campus from a weekend at home and didn't need to drive for another couple weeks. In the meantime, someone stole the parking permit decal off the inside of my windshield, and I received first a warning ticket and then an actual ticket for a parking violation. I was required to report the theft to the police in order to dispute the ticket and to get a replacement parking permit at less than full price. Oops!

Looks like the police have gone Twitter on us. emnsk, you might enjoy perusing this old thread of mine. Almost 20 years old, actually. It was my most successful. jackleg unfairly locked and killed it in a fit of rage against the police. He destroyed my innocent thread. He seems to be doing better these days, though. Good for him!
