it's nice since I only visit every few weeks it feels like I'm entering a new place
was centennial there back in your day? I know most engineering classes were on main campus, as can be seen etched on the buildings but was centennial just empty then? 2/3/2023 11:18:09 AM |

It wasn't empty. Engineering had started moving out there around the time the Wolf Web was in high gear, but it was years before the Hunt Library existed. I used to live right by it at Avery Close on Avent Ferry Road, and there were always folks coming and going. It was a popular bus stop. 2/3/2023 11:24:01 AM |

I graduate in 2013. I think textiles and engineering stuff was over there. I never spent much time over there. Had an online class and the testing site was on centennial. 2/3/2023 11:54:02 AM |

It was just getting started when i was around, there were only a couple of buildings, and all of Engineering was still on main campus. I went there several times to Mountain Bike, they had a lot of trails around (where I assume the roads went later)
[Edited on February 3, 2023 at 12:24 PM. Reason : oh yeah, i had a parking pass for a parking lot over there when i was still in the dorms] 2/3/2023 12:23:31 PM |

I walk around/through it almost daily now. However, I legit don't think I stepped foot on it once when I was in school. I prefer walking around there leaps and bounds to main campus, way less road and foot traffic. 2/3/2023 3:39:16 PM |

Those fancy pants polymer scientists had half that campus to themselves while I was still taking classes in old-ass Broughton.2/3/2023 5:14:09 PM |

I think the only time I ever went there was when I forgot to get off the Wolfline at the correct stop 2/4/2023 2:53:19 AM |

^^ all of that is still there, and they're building overpriced apartment/condo type buildings now around them 2/4/2023 8:36:51 AM |

I remember going into the engineering buildings there for computer science classes.
The water fountains were so new that their water had a weird, plastic flavor to it (at least I'm guessing that's why it tasted like that) 2/5/2023 12:03:49 PM |
