I think if SMU wins 1 more, they are guaranteed a spot in the championship game regardless of any other outcomes. If there are 3 1 loss ACC teams, Clemson loses the tiebreaker

In the SEC here is a potential for 5 teams to fnish at 6-2 in conference

I know Texas v Texas A&M winner goes to Atlanta. What happens if A&M wins. All the 5 Teams have losses against each other. Does anyone outside of Tennessee and A&M really want to go to the SEC Championship, especially knowing a loss eliminates them from the playoffs?

I could see giving one timeout for the entirety of the overtime, no matter how long it lasts but giving one every time is ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as a 2 point shootout.

All football overtimes are dumb. Either just play an extra period or bring back ties.
