my laptop from 15 years ago has better speakers than this fucking mess

and how is the headphone sound quality affected? that makes no damn sense. there is basically no volume mixer (bass, treble, mid) and it's just like a god damn tweeter. it's like ear rape

like I cannot enjoy any music on it lol

and I listen to ASMR a lot and it makes that fucking suck too

AND I have a stupid issue where, if I'm listening to ASMR (it applies the most here, because it's meant to kind of stay at a constant volume), and I pause the video for some reason so I can go hear something else, or go to another tab, then I come back to the video, press play and the LOUDEST FUCKING POPPING NOISE IN THE UNIVERSE occurs like 50% of the time lol

I feel like my clock radio from 1992 probably has better speakers than this garbage

and it's not a matter of "laptop are going to have garbage speakers anyway"

my 17 year old laptop has very good speakers. and you can adjust the bass, which is the main thing this one is missing. it's basically like I have tweeters here, and for some unknown (to me) reason, when you put on headphones, that sound is affected negatively as well (I know I already said it, I just find it weird)

unfortunately this is something I didn't factor into my decision because I (falsely) assume that newer technology is automatically going to be better
