Basically the idea behing this is that moderators can make threads that stay on the top for certain amount of times. These could be messages that Crazy J or Joe would like to put up to draw attention to new rules or things they would like to point out to all users and you could do this for Sports threads during games. This could help eliminate all of the multple threads that get generated at game time and it creates one thread that stays at the top during a game.

I am sure there are other good ideas for this type of feature but I am sure making sticky threads would help you guys out a lot.

yes they are fucking annoying, and any annoucement worth Jake or Joe posting will go on the frontpage.

yeah i was only seeing the use of them for sports page, i brough up the other things to give further credibility to it. I mean how more annoying is it for twenty million topics about the same game, even though lately it hasn't been happening as much

ugh i hate those goddamn things. they just completely screw up the flow of a message board.
