course comments :Why is this even a class? The material was obscure and not necessary to most majors
class :Fall 2001 section 001

class comments :The instructor never finished his lesson, he always stopped halfway through working a problem or explaining a new concept. We learned more from his rediculous stories that he rarely finished than we did from taking the class. Final grades were all lower than we expected. He gave retests for ever test after the first one because grades were all so horrific from the entire class.

instructor comments :He needs to speak ENGLISH, and finish a lesson for once, and try to learn how to do the problems he assigns.

instructor comments :extremely funny, but can't teach at all. But if the class screws up on a test he lets you take a take home test to average in with the in class test to get your actual test grade. And after that he adds a "sqrt(test grade) * 10 = recorded grade" curve.

class comments :Absolute hell -- thanks to Dr. Chao

instructor comments :Words cannot describe how awful his teaching is. Most lectures deal with communism and/or combinations of parents producing pretty babies. He couldn't work the problems himself in most cases. He wore the same pair of pants every single class period - except for the one before the final.

course comments :The material itself is not too hard, but he makes it harder than necessary. It's basically realistic applications of PY205.
class :Spring 2004 section 001
grade received :C+
class rating :1 - Bad
class comments :You really have to learn this stuff yourself outside of class. Going to class is useless because all he does is show you the PPT lectures and fails to answer any questions. He gets 1 point for curving the final exam and final grade heavily. The average this year on the final was a 40%.

instructor rating :0 - Horrible
instructor comments :Absolute worst teacher I've ever had for any class. He speaks extremely poor english, gives no partial credit, is very unresponsive to questions, and it takes forever to get anything back. Do NOT take him if you have the choice.
