course comments :class was boring, repeative, and monotonous...but i think it was the nature of the material and there's not much that you could do about that.

course comments :The material was extremely boring. One of those classes where you wish you had hit the snooze button, even though this class was at 2:35!

class comments :If you read the material and came to class, did your papers on time and checked what the TAs said on the papers, there was no problem with the grading in this class. There were some guest lecturers, but the class was still extremely bland given the material.

instructor comments :Dr. Jordan was a very fair professor. You could come by his office hours if there was a problem, and he was flexible enough to listen and help out with hard-to-grasp concepts from the class. He wasn't so flexible as to let students' laziness alter the schedule. He's a guy that I can respect since he did his part and I did mine.

class comments :We had 2 different professors that swtiched in the middle of the semester. They both had totally different teaching & testing styles. Both were boring. I brought a book to class and either read everyday or did homework for another class. I only cracked open the book for assignments & the final.

instructor comments :Albada was all right, she spent too much time on certain things but was a lot easier to listen to than Zucherman (who came in the second half of the semester). Now she was just impossible to listen to.

class comments :Power point slides... everyday. Attendance for participation points taken by turning in a notecard with your name that is handed back everyday (200 people in the class). Lots of papers - all handed out haphazardly by screaming out peoples names... terrible.

instructor comments :This lady does not know how to teach a big class!! She makes library assignments without checking with the librarians first to ensure the amount of materials available, grading is VERY inconsistant, and her descriptions for papers are very vague which lead to poor grades.

class comments :lets just say we went from Sept 19 until november 8 without a test. there was so much info to know that it each test was nearly a final in and of itself. the book was necessary because the tests often had questions from the book that the lecture overlooked.

instructor comments :i didnt hate her as much as alot of people, she did her thing and i did mine. she's not forgiving on grades, demands ALOT, and can be confusing in the wording of her questions. she'd be best in a graduate course or conducting research.

instructor comments :Shes quite possibly the worst professor I've ever had. She's stuck on herself and makes herself unavailable. Her grading depends on her mood. Oh and if you happen to be in her old sorority, I'm sure she'll give you a good grade. I can't even put into words what a horrible teacher she is. NCSU should fire her, shes a waste of my tutition dollars

course comments :This class was utterly useless. Even if my eventual goal was to indulge in research and I wanted to know theories, now would not be the time to learn them . It's unfortunate that this class is required. The course information is boring and inapplicable.

class comments :This course was terrible. Not only was it useless, I felt like my time was being wasted in another theory class. There was no application for the information adn the way Dr. Farr layed it out was horrifically bad.

instructor comments :She is undoubtedly an intelligent woman, but she has no student relation skills and is unable to make a connection. From the first day, she sat herself on a pedestal of respect that no one actually respected, yet she expected it from us. She had no formal design for the course except for the chapters we were to get through, and the assignmetns were bullshit. Watch out for her tests as they are comprised of both book and note information - terrible.

instructor comments :I seriously hope NO ONE ever has to take her again. her assignments made no sense and she has NO desire to help the students. I went to the TA about our ROL paper and she actually told me she thought I deserved some points back b/c she missed some things when she graded it -- I went to Dr. Farr, she didn't even attempt to listen. She refused to give me the points back and insisted that the paper was graded right the first time without even looking over my paper. DO NOT TAKE HER!

class comments :boring, teacher read straight from the power point slides and if asked questions she usually couldn't answer them...one good thing was that even though there was technically an attendance policy (only miss 3 classes) the TA was never there so no attendance was ever taken and the notes were posted on WebCT

instructor comments :set up several meetings to discuss assignments and on all of them she was at least half an hour late to, and one of them she didn't even show up; was way too preoccupied with her research and often stated she didn't have time to teach...thankfully this summer will be her last time teaching at NCSU though so no one has to put up with her
