Name of course : Boundary Layer Theory
Description : Introduction to the Navier-Stokes Equations and boundary layer approximations for incompressible flow. Calculation techniques for laminar and turbulent boundary layer parameters which affect lift, drag, and heat transfer on aerospace vehicles. Discussions of compressible flows.

course comments :Study of boundary layers (duh). Pretty tough, but interesting if you feel like making it interesting.

class comments :Lots of homework that takes pretty long. Book is needed for homeworks and exams, but it sucks to read. At least the equations are right (most of the time).

instructor comments :Not a fan of the guy. We had to goad him into working examples in class. He's an asshole, as well. (Outside of class, he's a fantastic guy, though. I just wasn't a fan of him as a teacher.)
