Name of course : Industrial and Organizational Psychology
Description : Surveys the application of psychological theories and methods to problems involving people in working settings. Topics include: organizational and management theory; work motivation and job satisfaction; job and organizational analysis; performance evaluation; personnel recruitment, selection, and placement; and personnel training and development.

instructor comments :professor knows what shes talking about, her tests dont reflect what you learn in class, so read the book.

class comments :Easy but boring. Attendance wasn't taken, but he was likely to put alot of stuff from in class on the tests that wasn't focused on by the book.

instructor comments :He is an understanding, nice guy. It isn't hard to do well in his class with minimal effort. His voice does put you to sleep though.

course comments :don't waste money on the book if you go to class. If you don't go to class and will rely on the review session, you will need the book.

instructor comments :If you know his style or have taken him for PSY200, you know the deal. Boring lectures, I never went, but be sure to attend review sessions and you will learn everything you need to know for the following test.

class comments :Borning, i just took it for credit and never went to class, passed with no prob, almost got a B, but it was taught straight from the book, so you never had to go to class.

instructor comments :He's prolly a nice guy, but by far the most boring teacher i've ever had. he speaks complelty monotone and not at all exciting. people skipped class all the time.

class comments :No attendence policy, but notes are not online, so you have to attend to get the material. He wont give them to you outside of class.

course comments :You pretty much just learn about how psychology relates to the workplace and about what motivates employees. It was pretty interesting and will definately help outside of colllege. This class should be required for business majors.

class comments :I actually took it distance ed, so I learned by watching videos of class, not actually going. The cool part is you get to schedule when you want your exams to be and you don't have to go to class, but you always end up waiting until the last minute to watch the videos and cramming before the exam. The class was 3 tests, no homework and he didn't curve at all. I made a 70 on the first test, which sucked, but got high A's on the last two. Its just a matter of figuring out what you need to write do

instructor comments :Sometimes he was boring. He looks like a complete herb from the videos, but he told some funny stories and if you actually listened and thought about what he was talking about, he was a really good teacher. I learned a lot from him. I missed not being in a classroom to ask questions.

class comments :This class was insanely easy class with a ridiculous amount of curves to the grades. I fell asleep constantly in class (even though it was interesting) but still managed to take good notes and then did maybe 10% of the reading assigned. His note giving style is somewhat different and took a while to get used to, but I grew to like it. The curves he gives are absurd (somewhere around 10-20%). One test I made around a 109% on with my final grade a point or two over 100%.

instructor comments :He may seem boring but he is really a great guy. He was extremely friendly and available outside of class and always willing to help out. I highly recommend him and this class to people who are interested in this subject.
