class comments :The class sucked. The effort put into homework and projects did not get reflected in your grades. The attendance policy was slack-- sign the roll and exit.

course comments :Very very boring material. No notes or calculations or anything. For a math class, you just sat there and listened.

class comments :No tests ever. No exam. Nothing. I didn't get an A because I didn't go all the time. Thats just about the only thing that can affect your grade.

course comments :Easy material. Don't bother buying the book, you won't need it.
class :Fall 2003 section 001
grade received :A
class rating :3 - Good
class comments :Pretty easy course. Get lots of points just for going to class. At the end, we had a total of 600 possible points, 150 came from in class activities, which are impossible to get anything but full credit on if you're there. Final exam was out of 200 pnts. Besides that, we had 2 quizes, a midterm, and a couple of small projects.
instructor :Woodard
instructor rating :3 - Good
instructor comments :Keeps the class interesting, walks around the class while he lectures and has a very clear voice. Lots of examples and practice for the material taught. Graded material closely follows what he has taught, with few surprises.

course :ST 101
course rating :2 - Average
course comments :Really basic statistics. The course focused mostly on statistics in the media and other "real world" situations.
class :Fall 2005 section 001
grade received :B
class rating :3 - Good
class comments :Grade is from: midterm, final, three papers, weekly quizzes on WebCT, group work in class. Never opened the textbook. Note outlines and study guides are online. No attendence policy per se - but in-class work is graded.
instructor :Woodard
instructor rating :3 - Good
instructor comments :Cool, guy, friendly, explains the material clearly enough for math-impaired people like me. I think he curved the final grade.
