Fund Raiser this Sunday for injured boy

This coming Sunday, August 17th, there will be a bike wash fund raiser for 4 year old Matt Baldwin at Locked & Loaded, Hwy 70, Garner, NC. Matt unfortunately had to have his right leg amputated above the knee due to an accident involving a lawn mower. This fund raiser will be to assist in covering the boy's medical expenses.

Matt is the nephew of my friend Mandi, better known in the Raleigh area as one of the Rock 96 girls. Mandi is the host of this event. Besides the bike wash, there will also be food and live entertainment. The event begins at noon.

I hope that you will assist with this event by promoting it to all of your North Carolina friends. If you can help by making a financial donation or are able to offer goods and services, please let me know and I'll get you in touch with Mandi

this is like the 5th case ive heard about JUST THIS MONTH where a kid has either lost a limb or been killed by a lawn mower.

on the news this morning, some father was charged with child abuse cause his girl fell off a lawn mower or 4 wheeler or something and lost a leg.

i dont know the circumstances, so i'm not gonna say that the dad deserves to be charged. but, god damn, BE CAREFUL AROUND YOUR CHILDREN

Man, geez...I'm not sure why I didn't see recognize it before, but I know this kid's parents...well, dad anyway...we grew up together.

This is tragic.

I'll definitely spread the word around. Any chances of setting up a fund via a bank so that people out of the area can offer donations?
